Drawing in Three Dimensions: Exploring Ceremonial Objects from Sacred Splendor: Jewish Ritual Art and Christian Treasures from St. Vitus Cathedral in Prague In this in-person workshop with artist and educator Hollie Ecker, participants translate three-dimensional objects into two-dimensional drawings, in response to the ceremonial objects featured in Sacred Splendor: Jewish Ritual Art and Christian Treasures from St. Vitus Cathedral in Prague . Focusing on richly detailed objects crafted from precious metals, textiles, and other materials, participants will practice observational drawing techniques and learn to render architectural, organic, and geometric forms in space, paying special attention to light, shadow, proportion, and perspective. Working in the galleries while the Museum is closed to the public, participants will draw directly from works on view and their surroundings. $45 General; $40 Members
