A Close Look (Ages 65+): Iris van Herpen

Older adults (ages 65+) are invited to discover the experimental spirit and exceptional artisanship in Iris van Herpen: Sculpting the Senses . Explore extraordinary haute couture creations inspired by the fluidity of water; natural history specimens such as coral, fossils, and skeletons; and nature’s profound interconnectedness, from the smallest ocean life to the cosmos. Held while the Museum is closed to the public, these fully accessible tours are thoughtfully paced with special features such as music and poetry, as well as close looking and conversation about art.
