Museum on Wheels: Kensington

Museum on Wheels joins Casa Cultural for its 10th annual Día de los Muertos celebration in Kensington, honoring lost loved ones through community traditions. The afternoon kicks off with a festive puppet parade, followed by dance performances, live music, and more! Families can enjoy hands-on art making, face painting, food, raffles, and giveaways—and contribute a photo to the communal ofrenda. Stop by Museum on Wheels for activities inspired by Día de los Muertos, including the chance to create artworks featuring sugar skulls, marigolds, and other traditional symbols. Free and open to the public. Space is limited for all art-making activities; first come, first served. The event will take place outdoors, rain or shine. Can’t make this one?
