Join CMOM partner American Ballet Theatre (ABT) for an exciting morning dancing in Shakespeare’s enchanted Arden Forest. Learn the fun ways fairies move, fauns jump and characters transform in Frederick Ashton’s ballet The Dream. Teaching Artists will lead an engaging warm-up exploring the seven movements of dancing and teaching movement phrases from The Dream. Stay after the workshop for a related art activity and learn about ABT’s one-hour family-friendly performance, ABTKids. Children are encouraged to wear a fairy, faun, or favorite Halloween costume piece. Please be mindful that any costuming should be easy to move and dance in amongst our many friends on the first floor.
