Guide Details
What if your next family art adventure didn't begin at a museum, but with a walk in the park?
Central Park is full of characters waiting to be discovered. A heroic dog, a watchful panther, a storyteller with a duckling at his feet, and a whole cast of familiar faces hiding in stone and bronze.
Meet Me at the Park invites families to follow a trail of seven public artworks, uncover their stories, and discover just how much there is to see when we slow down and look a little closer.
Along the way, you'll hunt for hidden details, strike a sculptural pose, imagine conversations, and discover how artists can make ordinary places extraordinary. With an illustrated route map, playful looking prompts, and creative activities, the guide turns a free afternoon in Central Park into an adventure in artful looking.
No tickets, no special knowledge, and no right answers required. Just comfortable shoes, a little curiosity, and someone to share your discoveries with.
Because art is everywhere. Sometimes we just need to know where to look.

The layout made such a difference
I used it while visiting with my mother-in-law, and it was incredibly helpful. Knowing what order to see everything in—and understanding how the museum was laid out—made such a difference. They don’t explain that clearly on the museum’s website!
